Penpole Consulting is supporting an NHS Trust on a major digital transformation programme and is seeking an experienced Test Analyst to support the testing workstream.

This role will play a key part in ensuring the safe and effective delivery of Laboratory Information Management System (LIMS) functionality across laboratory and clinical environments.

As a Test Analyst, you will:
 

• Execute catalogue testing across LIMS (Laboratory Information Management System) and ICE (Integrated Clinical Environment) in line with approved test scripts
• Support and help coordinate ongoing User Acceptance Testing (UAT) sessions
• Log, manage, and escalate defects promptly via the agreed defect tracking process
• Provide on-site go-live support (floorwalking) when required and assist with transition into BAU
• Produce clear, timely status updates and reports for the workstream lead and Penpole account management
• Work collaboratively with stakeholders across pathology laboratories, acute services, system suppliers, and internal digital teams
• Quickly understand programme structures, governance, and ways of working, adapting your approach accordingly
   

We are looking for someone who has:
 

• Proven experience in catalogue testing, integration testing, and UAT
• Hands-on experience with LIMS and/or ICE systems within an NHS environment
• A proactive, well-organised approach with the ability to meet deadlines
• Strong communication skills and the ability to build trust quickly with clinical and technical stakeholders
